Lecture

Today Mr Fauzi touched on how we could execute our poster. We should consider what kind of emotions we want to evoke from our viewer. As our poster is a PSA about mental health, it should have a more sensitive and/or artistic approach. 

Types of posters: 

-Shock Value → Brutal

-Provocative → Upsetting

-Humor → Sarcastic

-Sensitive → Heartwarming

-Artistic → Subtle

Tutorial

For tutorial Mr Fauzi showed a quick demo on how to recolour a black and white photo. The main idea here is that different types of blending layers can 'colour' an image differently. The focal blending type used by Mr Fauzi is 'Overlay'.

Practical

Given the black and white image, we were tasked with recolouring it. Mr Fauzi suggested to make it as realistic as possible with the recolouring. A video tutorial by Mr Martin is also given for us to follow.
